(a) whether the Government is planning to include more States of the country including Uttar Pradesh and Tripura under National Food Security Mission (NFSM) to promote pulses and oil seeds cultivation and if so, the details thereof, district-wise; and
(b) the target likely to be set in this regard along with the funds likely to be sanctioned for this purpose, district-wise and State-wise?

(a) to (b): The Government is already implementing National Food Security Mission (NFSM) in the country including Uttar Pradesh & Tripura to promote pulses & oilseeds. NFSM-Pulses development programme covers 644 districts in 28 states and 2 Union Territories (UTs) and NFSM-Oilseeds in 27 states and 3 UTs. The Government has already approved Annual Action Plan (AAP) for pulses and oilseeds for 2021-22 as given at Annexure-I.
