Question : ANOMALY COMMITTEE



(a) whether the Union Government have constituted an Anomaly Committee to sort out the grievances of Central Government employees after implementation of recommendations of Vth Pay Commission;

(b) if so, the details of the grievances before the Committee yet to be sort out; and

(c) the time by which Anomaly Committee is likely to finalise all the grievances/representations from the representative bodies of the employees?

(a), (b) & (c): In order to settle the anomalies arising out of the implementation of the recommendations of 5th Central Pay Commission, instructions have been issued for setting up National Anomaly Committee for dealing with the anomalies common to two or more Departments and in respect of common categories of employees and Departmental Anomaly Committees for dealing with the anomalies pertaining exclusively to the Department concerned and having no repercussions on the employees of other Ministries/ Departments. Grievances in the form of anomalies received through Secretary, Staff Side of the respective Council are dealt with as per the procedure agreed with the representatives of Staff Side. The Anomaly Committees are required to finalise all the anomalies received, at the earliest.
