(a) No, Sir. However, the second unit of Kaiga Nuclear Power Plant attained criticality on 24.9.1999.
(b) The total amount spent so far on Kaiga Nuclear Power Plant (Kaiga Units 1&2) as of end October, 1999 is Rupees 2,533 crores.
