Question : HRIDAY in Rajasthan

(a) whether Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana (HRIDAY) is being implemented in Rajasthan;

(b) if so, the cities of Rajasthan included in this scheme;

(c) the details of the work done during the last three years under HRIDAY scheme, city-wise; and

(d) the funds allocated/released/utilised under the above scheme during the last three years, city and year-wise?

(a) & (b) The National Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana (HRIDAY), a central sector scheme was launched on 21st January, 2015. Under the scheme, one city viz. Ajmer in Rajasthan was included. The Mission period of the scheme has ended in March, 2019.

(c) Following projects were taken up in Ajmer city in Rajasthan:-

(d) Under the HRIDAY Scheme, funds were not allocated to the cities year-wise but for the entire Mission period.A total amount of Rs. 40.04 crore was allocated to Ajmer out of which an amount of Rs. 34.17 crore was released to the city. The details of the funds released and utilized in Ajmer under HRIDAY scheme during the last two years are given as under:-
