(a) whether several steel manufacturers have been allotted mines in the States of
Orissa, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Karnataka during the last one year;
(b) if so, the names of such companies with area of mines allotted to them;
(c) whether some private companies have failed to set up steel plants even after
three years of signing of the MoUs with the State/Central Government; and
(d) if so, the names of such companies and action taken by the Government for delay
in setting up of steel plants?
