(a) whether the Khadi and Village Industries Commission is running in loss for the last three years;
(b) if so, the year-wise details thereof;
(c) the steps taken/proposed to be taken by the Government for the revival of these units; and
(d) the year-wise financial assistance provided by the Government to the said Commission during the last three years?

(a)&(b): The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is not
a commercial organisation. However, in the course of its
promotional activities, the KVIC undertakes some trading
activities to market Khadi and Village Industries products. The
losses incurred in the trading operations during the last three
years are as under:
