(a) the total number of higher education institutions with accreditation from National Assessment Accreditation Committee (NAAC) from the inception of NAAC till date;
(b) whether there is a complaint that the attitude of NAAC towards Universities / Government Colleges is arbitrary; and
(c) if so, the action taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) : According to the information furnished by the
National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the
total number of higher education institutions with
accreditation from NAAC from its inception till date, are
as under:

(b) & (c) : Assessment and accreditation procedure of NAAC
is same for all types of higher education institutions and
there is no discrimination and /or arbitrariness in regard
to any category of higher education institutions.
