Question : OPERATION OF FLIGHT OF PRIVATE AIRLINES



(a) whether the Government propose to hand over those routes to the private airlines operators where the Indian Airlines has been incurring losses;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a),(b) and (c): No, Sir. However, Airlines operators are free to operate on any route in their commercial judgement subject to the compliance with the Route Dispersal Guidelines which provide for certain minimum operations in specified category of routes.
