Question : KINGFISHER AIRLINES



(a):- whether Kingfisher Airlines has been granted permission to operate its flights within the country and abroad;

(b) if so, the routes for which permission has been granted;

(c) whether the Kingfisher Airlines has also requested for working space at the Indore Airport; and

(d) if so, the decision taken by the Government thereon?

(a):- No Sir. The Kingfisher Airlines has been granted No Objection Certificate (NOC) to operate scheduled air transport services. The company is yet to get operator`s permit.

(b):- Does not arise. In any case, all airlines are free to operate anywhere in the country subject to compliance with Route Dispersal Guidelines issued by the Government.

(c):- Yes Sir.

(d):- Kingfisher Airlines will be given allotment as per the availability of space.
