Question : DISPOSAL OF ARBITRATION CASES

(a): whether there has been delayed in disposal of arbitration cases;

(b): if so, whether the Union government propose to take any firm steps to effectively implement the Arbitration Act of 1940; and

(c): is so, the steps proposed to be taken to make the judiciary effective in dealing with such cases?

(b): The Arbitration Act, 1940 has already been replaced by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (26 of 1996).
