Question : Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Maharashtra

Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:

(a) the total number of beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in the State of Maharashtra including the district of Chandrapur;

(b) the number of Government, private and Public-Private Partnership hospitals in the country; and

(c) the amount of funds released for Maharashtra under the said scheme so far?

(a): Services at Ayushman Bharat- Health & Wellness Centres (AB-HWCs) are free and universal to all.

The total number of beneficiary families under Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in the State of Maharashtra are 83.6 lakh families. Out of these, 1.8 lakh families are from Chandrapur district.

(b): As on 25.11.2019, the total number of hospitals empanelled under AB-PMJAY are 19,668. Out of these 10,574 are public hospitals and 9,094 are private hospitals.

(c): Under AB-HWCs (Comprehensive Primary Health Care), Rs. 91.27 Crore were released to Maharashtra during Financial Year 2018-19 and Rs. 121.18 have been allocated for Financial Year 2019-20.
