Will the Minister of ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government proposes to cover all districts in the country under the e-district project;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the funds allocated for the said project, State-wise; and
(c) the details of districts covered/ proposed to be covered under the said project during the year 2015-16 and 2016-17, State-wise and district-wise and the budgetary allocation made for this purpose?
(a) : Yes, Sir.
(b) : The e-District Mission Mode Project (MMP) aims at electronic delivery of identified high volume citizen centric services, at district and sub-district level and to undertake backend computerization to enable the delivery of these services through common services centers. `1663.08 crore has been allocated for the eDistrict MMP. The details of State-wise outlay can be referred at Annexure 1.
(c) : The details of districts covered/ proposed to be covered under the said project during the year 2015-16 and 2016-17, State-wise and district-wise and the budgetary allocation made for this purpose is placed at Annexure 2.
