Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS AND MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES AND PENSIONS. (SHRI HARIN PATHAK)

(a) to (c): Yes Sir. The officer when appointed to the post was not empanelled to hold Joint Secretary/equivalent posts under the Central Staffing Scheme. Subsequently, on his being empanelled to hold Joint Secretary/equivalent posts at the Centre, the officer requested for a posting at the level of Joint Secretary under the Central Staffing Scheme and accordingly he was allowed posting at the level of Joint Secretary in the Government of India.
