(a) whether it is a fact that the Government are considering to withhold population stabilization funds from States which deviated from the National Population Policy;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether it is also a fact that Government propose to achieve population stabilization by 2045; and

(d) if so, the steps taken by the Government to achieve the target?

(a)&(b): No, Sir.

(c)&(d): The National Population Policy 2000 approved by the Government gives the objective of reaching a stable population by the year 2045. The Central and State Governments are implementing the National Family Welfare Programme intended to achieve the objective of a stable population by the target year.
