Will the Minister of Electronics and Information Technology be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has taken any decision to ban the use of Zoom App as it is posing serious security problems; and
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not the reasons therefor?
(a) and (b): The Indian Computer Emergency response Team (CERT-In) has issued a number of advisories on the safe and secure usage of video conferencing tools including Zoom App. There is no proposal with Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to ban use of Zoom App.
