(a) the amount spent by ITDC on its establishments in Goa during the last three years, till date, location-wise;
(b) the profit earned therefrom during the above period;
(c) whether the ITDC has formulated/propose to formulate any scheme for the development of its units situated in Goa; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a): ITDC operates duty free shops in Goa. The total amount spent
(operating expenditure) in running the duty free shops at Goa during the
last 3 years and current year (upto January, 2000) was Rs.231.24 lakhs and
Rs.87.74 lakhs respectively.
(b): ITDC earned a profit of Rs. 119.50 lakhs and Rs.64.24 lakhs from
operation of duty free shops in Goa during the last three years and current
year (upto January, 2000) respectively.
(b) & (d): Presently, there is no proposal under consideration of ITDC to
expand its existing establishments in Goa.
