(a) the details of Textile Parks functioning in the country, state-wise;
(b) the details of employment generated by these parks;
(c) whether the Government has reviewed the performance of these Textile Parks and if so, the details and outcome thereof;
(d) whether the government is taking steps to set up more Textile Parks across the country with emphasis on linking them with tourism; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): State wise list of Textile Parks functioning in the country along with details of employment generated by these parks is at Annexure I.
(c): The Government has conducted third party evaluation of the parks from time to time. The latest assessment was done by M/s. Wazir Advisors in 2015-16. All studies have brought out that textiles parks have succeeded in creating high level assets and addressed the problem of fragmentation in the textile industry by creating vertically integrated value chains. On the basis of these studies, guidelines governing the scheme were strengthened.
(d) & (e): The scheme has provision for new parks. However, there is no proposal for linking the parks with tourism.
