(a) whether back channel diplomacy is being tried for starting Indo-Pak dialogue;

(a) No, Sir.

(b) Do not arise.

(c) to (e) Government position on the issue of a resumption of dialogue with Pakistan has been reiterated on several occasions. Pakistan must end its sponsorship of cross border terrorism in India so as to create appropriate conditions for the resumption of a meaningful dialogue which can contribute to establishing peaceful and cooperative ties between the two countries.
