(a) & (b): Yes, Madam. An MoU for cooperation in the field of agriculture and allied sector
was signed between Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Agriculture,
Livestock and Fisheries of the Argentine Republic on 11-09-2010 during the visit of Union
Agriculture Minister to Argentina. The areas of cooperation include the cooperation in
agricultural infrastructure, research and extension; agricultural production including
cereals, oilseeds and pulses, sugarcane and cotton etc.
