(a) whether the judicial enquiry into the Tehalka video tape revelation has been completed;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) if not, the stage at which it stands at present;
(d) whether the commission has submitted any interim report;
(e) if so, the details thereof;
(f) the amount spent on enquiry commission till date;
(g) whether the Government are planning to wind up this commission; and
(h) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): Justice K. Venkataswami Commission on Inquiry has not completed inquiry into the Tehelka video tape revelation.
(c) The work of the Commission is under way and its hearings are in progress.
(d) & (e): The Commission has not submitted any interim report.
(f) Government have placed an amount of Rs. 2 crores at the disposal of the Commission to meet their financial requirements.
(g) & (h): Government is considering the request of the Commission for grant of further extension of time for a period of four months from 24.11.2001.
