(a) the details of Employees State Insurance (ESI) hospitals in the country at present, State/UT-wise including Andhra Pradesh and Kerala;
(b) whether the Government has any proposal to open a few new ESI hospitals in the country including Andhra Pradesh and Kerala;
(c) if so, the details and the present status thereof along with the funds likely to be allocated for the said projects, State/UT-wise; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): The details of Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) hospitals in the country at present, State/UT-wise including Andhra Pradesh and Kerala are at Annex-I.
(b) & (c): Yes, Madam. The details of ESI hospitals to be opened in the country including Andhra Pradesh and Kerala alongwith present status and amount likely to be provided are at Annex-II.
(d): Does not arise in view of reply to part (b) & (c) of the question.
