MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT(SMT. D. PURANDESWARI)

(a) to (e): According to the University Grants Commission, all the privately funded State Universities have been advised by the Commission to stop their operations, if any, beyond their territorial jurisdiction as off-campus/study centres/affiliation to colleges and centres operating through franchises, which would be violative of the decision of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Prof. Yash Pal Vs. State of Chhattisgarh and others.
