(a) whether a large number of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel have been allowed to overstay in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for the last several years;
(b) if so, the details thereof along with the reasons therefor; and
(c) the corrective steps taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) to (c): Extension of deputation tenure is given in consultation with lending organisations. There is sometimes a time lag between the date of expiry of initial deputation tenure and grant of approval for further extension. With the grant of approval, the period is regularized.
