Answer given by the minister

THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES & PENSIONS AND PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE (Dr. JITENDRA SINGH):

(a)to(f)These are matters of detailed techno-commercial discussions between the two sides and will be finalised on the basis of such discussions during the course of implementation of the civil nuclear co-operation agreement recently signed between India and Japan.

In general, the agreement would enable India to benefit from Japan’s advancements in civil nuclear domain and its extensive supply chain and would open up opportunities for collaboration between Indian and Japanese industries to advance India’s civil nuclear programme through the construction of nuclear power plants, thereby meeting the country’s clean energy targets.
