(a) the details of the funds allocated by the Government to the States/UTs for
road safety activities during the last three years and the current year;
(b) whether it is a fact that the Government has decided to utilise the said funds
for construction of wayside amenities along the National Highways; and
(c) if so, the reasons therefor?

(a) The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways provides financial assistance to States/
UTs for setting up of Institute of Driving Training & Research. The details of funds
provided to States / UTs during the last three years and current year is at Annexure.
