Question : YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CENTRES

(a) whether the Government have launched a scheme for setting up youth development centres in the various States;

(b) if so, the number of such centres set up so far, State- wise; and

(c) the details of expenditure incurred on the same ?

(a) Yes, Sir.

(b) So far, 1513 YDCs have been set up. A State-wise list is placed at annexure.

(c) An amount of Rs. 4,53,90,000/- has been incurred on setting up of 1513 Youth Development Centre @ of Rs. 30,000/- per Youth Development Centre as one time grant only.
