Will the Minister of CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has constructed a Task Force to recommend on the implementation and providing solution for direct benefit transfer (DBT) of subsidy on fertilizers;
(b) if so, whether the task force has submitted its reports; and
(c) if not, action taken/proposed to be taken by the government to implement the suggestions of the Task Force?

(a) : Yes Madam, the Government has constituted a Task Force in February, 2011 to recommend an implementable solution for direct transfer of subsidies on Kerosene, LPG and fertilizers.
(b) : Yes, Madam, the Task Force submitted its final report on 7th August, 2013.
(c) : Phase I of the recommendations of the Task Force (i.e. information visibility till the retailer) has become operational since Nov, 2012.
