(a) whether Government has given recognition to LPG kit being used in vehicles to stop air pollution and propose to enact any legislation in this regard;
(b) if so, the time by which it is likely to be done;

(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the action taken so far to check the clandestine manufacture/import of LPG kits in the country ?

(a) No, Sir.
(b) & (c ) No time frame can be given for enacting such a legislation.
(d) Instructions have been issued to the State Governments/UTs to abide by the existing provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in respect of the use of LPG as an auto fuel.
