Question : Hindi as Compulsory Subject

(a) Whether the government proposes to introduce Hindi as a compulsory language under New Educational Policy 2020;

(b) if so, the details thereof ; and
(c) whether the Government plans to revise the existing reservation norms under New Educational Policy and if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (b) The New Education Policy provides for strengthening all the 22 Indian languages included in the Eighth Schedule of Indian Constitution.
(c) There is no question of revising the reservation policy.
