(a) to (d): In pursuance with the direction of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the matter of Sampoorna Behura vs. UOI & Ors (M.A. No.-2069/2018 in W.P.(C) No.473/2005 regarding drafting of the National Child Protection Policy, the first draft of the National Child Protection Policy was prepared by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. The draft was widely circulated in the public domain to gather the comments/suggestions of all the stakeholders. Around 250 comments have been received, which are being reviewed, before the policy is finalized for implementation.
