Question : DEVELOPMENT OF RAILWAY IN HIMACHAL PRADESH

(a) whether there is any proposal to construct a railway line to connect a religious place “Dhothsidh” with the entire country through Pathankot-Jogindra Nagar Railway line via Ranital and Jawalamukhi in Himachal Pradesh;

(b) if so, the details thereof ; and

(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(b) : Does not arise.

(c) : In view of constraint of resources and large throwforward of on-going projects, it is not feasible to consider construction of the proposed new line.
