(a) whether the Government has taken/proposes to take any steps to resume the operations of Abida Express which used to run between Kanpur-Balaman-Neemsar via Shahjahanpur to Delhi;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c) No train service with the name “Abida Express” has been operated between Kanpur and Delhi via Balamau-Shahjahanpur in the recent past. As such, its restoration is not possible. Further, introduction of a train between Kanpur and Delhi via Balamau-Shahjahanpur is also not feasible, at present, due to operational and resource constraints.
