(a) whether the State Government of Rajasthan has submitted any proposal for Central Assistance for construction of Hostel Buildings for SC and OBC students to the Ministry;
(b) if so, whether sanction of Central share for the proposed 22 hostels for Rs. 26.46 crores would be released soon; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and the time by which it is likely to be released?

(a): Yes, the State Government of Rajasthan submitted proposals for construction of 16 hostels for SC students and 6 hostels for OBC students under the Schemes Babu Jagjivan Ram Chhatrawas Yojna (BJRCY) and Hostels for OBC Boys and Girls respectively.
(b) & (c): All complete proposals received for construction of SC Girls hostels (10 in number) and one SC Boys Hostels were sanctioned and central assistance of Rs. 14.76 crore was released to the State Government/NGO during 2014-15 and 2015-16. The proposals received for construction of 5 SC boys and 6 OBC hostels were incomplete and the State Government has been informed accordingly.
