SCHEDULED CASTES SUB-PLAN

1556. SHRI S. VENKATESAN:

Will the Minister of SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT be pleased to state:

(a) whether any study has been done by the Government on the efficacy of implementation of Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan (SCSP) during the last 7 years i.e. 2014-20;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether there is any proposal on the part of the Government to give legal framework for SCSP to avoid circumvention of guidelines; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a): No Sir. However, regular reviews are being held with all concerned Ministries/Departments to assess the progress of the schemes under Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) now Development Action Plan for Scheduled Castes (DAPSC).
