(a) the share of non-conventional energy sources in total electricity generation in the country, State-wise;
(b) the details of total number of various types of non-conventional energy projects started in the country along with the expenditure incurred on each of them; and

(a) The share of renewable energy (excluding large hydro) in the total electricity generation in the country is around 11% during the year 2020-21( upto Dec’2020). The state-wise details of share of renewable energy sources in the total electricity generation is given in Annexure-I.

(b) The details of state-wise and source-wise installed capacity of the renewable energy projects in the country (upto Dec’2020) are given in Annexure-II.

Most of the grid connected renewable energy projects in the country are being implemented by private sector developers selected through transparent competitive bidding process.
(c) The details of central financial assistance provided to the states for the promotion of renewable energy sources during the last three years and the current year ( upto 4/2/2021) is as under:
