(a) the increase in annual per capita income of the country in percentage during the year
2008-09 in comparison to 2007-08;
(b) whether the Government has made any assessment regarding the huge gap between
the growth rate of incomes of agricultural labourers and the average growth rate of
income in the country;
(c) if so, the outcome thereof;
(d) the estimated annual growth rate of income of the agricultural and industrial sectors
labourers including the service sector employees;
(e) the percentage of the country’s population engaged in each of the above sectors,
sector-wise; and
(f) the steps taken by the Government to reduce the income gap between the agricultural
labourers and the average income of the country?
