Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) IN THE MINISTRY OF PETROLEUM & NATURAL GAS (SHRI DHARMENDRA PRADHAN)
(a) & (b): No, Madam. Government has not incurred any loss of revenue because of the procedure to allocate gas to private companies after its exploration by Government agencies in the country as the domestic gas is being allocated in line with the allocation priority defined in the Gas Utilization policy, which does not differentiate between Government and private sector companies.
(c) & (d): NELP-IX was launched in 2010 and completed in 2012. Thereafter, no bidding round of oil and gas blocks took place. Hence, question of details of bids received, allotment/award of new exploration blocks/fields etc. does not arise.
