Question : Homoeopathic College

Will the Minister of AYURVEDA, YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:

(a) whether any study has been conducted regarding number of homoeopathic colleges required in the country to meet the demand/necessity, if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether the Government proposes to consider establishing adequate number of homoeopathic colleges in the country including district Gopalganj of Bihar; and

(c) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): No study has been conducted regarding number of homoeopathic colleges required in the country to meet the demand/necessity as public health is a State subject. The Central Government approves eligible proposals received and recommended from the State Government.
(b) & (c): No proposal has been received by the Ministry for establishment of homeopathic College at Gopalganj, Bihar.
