(a) the details of demands made by various State Governments, particularly by the State
of Uttar Pradesh for release of funds from the Sugar Development Fund and the reaction of
the Union Government thereto;
(b) whether the Government provides interest free loans out of this fund; and
(c) if so, the details thereof?

(a); The Union Government has not received any demand from any of the State Governments
including the State of Uttar Pradesh for release of funds from the Sugar Development Fund
(SDF).
(b): No Sir, no loan is provided from SDF which is interest free.
(c): Does not arise.
