(a) the sanctioned strength, the actual strength and the net shortage of IAS, IFS and IPS officers, State-wise;
(b) the number of IAS, IFS and IPS officers recruited during the last three years, year and State-wise; and
(c) the steps being taken to fill up the vacancies without any delay?

(a): The details of the Total Authorized Strength(TAS), the number of officers in-position and the shortage of officers in Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Forest Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) in various States/Joint cadres are at Annexure-I, Annexure-II and Annexure-III respectively.
(b): Number of IAS, IFS and IPS officers allotted to various cadres/ joint cadres during the last three years are at Annexure-IV, Annexure-V and Annexure-VI respectively.
(c): The Government has increased annual intake of IAS officers to 180 during last four years. The annual intake of IFS officers has been increased to 110 and of IPS officers to 150 from 2015 and 2009 examination respectively. Further in promotion quota prompt action has been taken for holding Selection Committee Meeting for appointment by promotion/selection of State Service officers in All India Services.
