(a) whether the Delhi High Court has sought the opinion of the Government regarding a safe and secure permanent residence for the Prime Minister;
(b) if so, the opinion of the Government in this regard;
(c) whether the Government are contemplating to construct Prime Minister`s residence at a particular place; and
(d) if so, the details in this regard?

(a): The Delhi High Court during the course of hearing in a
writ petition had requested the additional Solicitor General of
India to ascertain the views of the Government on the issue of
permanent residence for the Prime Minister.
(b): The Government is yet to take a view in the matter.
(c)&(d): No such proposal is under consideration.
