(a) the steps taken by the Government to provide necessary infrastructural and technical support to equip textiles mills in Odisha so as to revive the declining textile sector including Konark Spinning Mills in the State;
(b) whether the Government proposes to provide assistance for the revival of three spinning mills that were closed down in the State;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (d): The Ministry of Textiles has no proposal to revive the Konark Spinning Mill (which is a Co-operative Spinning Mill) or other Spinning Mills in Odisha, at present. However, the Government is implementing several schemes to support the Textile Industry which include the Amended Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (ATUFS); Scheme for Integrated Textile Parks (SITP); Integrated Skill Development Scheme (ISDS); Technology Mission on Technical Textiles (TMTT), etc. The Industry could avail benefits under the above schemes for upgrading/reviving textile units.
