Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government is considering to launch a centralized portal through which information regarding name of the blood bank, type of blood group, blood volume and cost would be made available;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b): A centralised portal through e-Raktkosh application has been developed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare wherein information regarding the name of blood bank, type of blood group, blood volume etc is made available.
All licensed blood banks are mandated to display prominently, the processing charges for blood and blood component at blood bank premises.
(c): Does not arise.
