Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) the number of persons hospitalized in Kashmir under PMJAY since 5 August, 2019 onwards, week-wise and hospital wise figures; and
(b) the necessary steps that have been taken to implement PMJAY efficiently in the State?

(a): Week-wise and hospital-wise details of hospital admissions under Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in Kashmir since 5th August, 2019 onwards are at Annexure I and II respectively.
(b): As per the guidelines of AB-PMJAY (available at www.pmjay.gov.in), for hospitals facing intermittent internet connectivity, records can be updated within 7 days time, provided the processes outlined in the guidelines are followed.
In the interest of beneficiaries of UT of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, on 27.08.2019 provision of timeline of 7 days and telephonic approval for packages requiring pre-authorisation after admission of beneficiary in hospital have been relaxed.
