(a): Yes, Madam. The Task force on Innovation has come up with the report “Task Force on Innovation Report on Global Innovation Index: An Indian Perspective” in which measures to enhance the innovation ecosystem in India and improve India''s ranking in the Global Innovation Index (GII) have been suggested.
(b) & (c): Yes, Madam. India has improved its rank in Global Innovation Index (GII) from 81st in 2015 to 66th in 2016, and further six places to 60th in 2017.
