(a) & (b): Under the Centrally Sponsored scheme for
Strengthening of Boarding and Hostel Facilities for Girl
Students of Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools,
financial assistance is provided for running
hostels/boarding houses being maintained exclusively for
girls by the voluntary organizations. During the last three
years, no proposal has been received for assistance from the
Union Territory of Daman & Diu.
