(a) the total number of Indians who returned to the country form the civil war affected countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, etc., State-wise and Country-wise;
(b) whether the Government proposes to formulate any new scheme for the rehabilitation of these returnees; and
(c) if so, the details of the financial and other assistance provided/likely to be provided to them?

(a) : As reported by the Indian Missions/Posts the country-wise number of Indians who returned from the civil war affected countries are as follows:
Country No. of Indians (approximately) Afghanistan 30(during the last one year) Iraq 2065 (as on 21` July, 2014) Libya 18,000(during the year 2011) Ukraine 1,000(ln the month of June, 2014)(b) and (c): No, Madam. Government has not formulated any rehabilitation scheme as rehabilitation of returnees rests mainly with the State Government.
