Question : Road Projects in North Eastern Region

(a) the details of roads sanctioned as National Highways (NHs) in North Eastern Region during each of the last five years and the current year;

(b) the details of funds allocated for construction of these NHs during the said period, year and State-wise including Assam;

(c) whether the funds have been released for highways in Assam during the said period and if so, the details thereof, year-wise; and

(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) Works sanctioned on National Highways (NHs) in North Eastern Region during each of the last five years and the current year are placed at Annexure-I.

(b) to (d) Ministry allocates funds state wise. Details of funds allocated and expenditure made state wise including Assam during the last five years and current year are placed at Annexure-II.
