Question : CEILING LIMIT FOR TOBACCO PRODUCTION

:

(a) the ceiling fixed in Karnataka for tobacco production during 2001-02 and 2002-03;

(b) whether Karnataka has the potential to touch 65,000 m.kg this year;

(c) if so, whether Government propose to enhance the ceiling limit to 65,000 m. kgs of tobacco production in Karnataka ; and

(d) if so, the steps being taken in this regard?
