(a) whether the Railways have framed any rules for waival of Demurrage and Wharfage charges;
(b) if so, the details thereof along with the number of cases and the amount of said charges waived off during the last three years and the current year, State/Zone-wise;
(c) whether the Railways propose to take any action against the erring railway officials for faulty waival of the said charges; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(b): Guidelines regarding waiver of Demurrage and Wharfage Charges are laid down wherein the powers for waiver are delegated to the officers of Zonal/Divisional Railway with full powers to General Manager.
